Random red barring of this make every flower unique.
Couple Phal lobbii in bloom, Really easy to grow and bloom. Nice choice for a beginner miniature phal species.
Glossy and thick substance to the petals make this a beautiful flower. Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi forma chattaladae
We are going to be vending at the COOS show Sept 23rd & 24th. We will be posting our show plant list in a couple weeks, feel free to put in a pre-order based on our Fall list(many plants are in limited quantities and might not make the show list) at firstname.lastname@example.org Let the show ...
Creamy off white flower with soft pink markings. Uber fuzzy lip! The flower tends to look downwards and blooms below the leaves, which make them hard to find sometimes. I almost missed these!
I love the lip on these guys, they are such an unusual flower
Nice scent and it flowers very easily. violacea x speciosa = Germaine Vincent
Here is our latest registered orchid we named Phalaenopsis Quatloos. It is made with modesta x pallens ‘Mellow Yellow’. Pollinated Dec 21st 2014, flowered Aug 20th 2017 Soft pink markings on a pale yellow background Parents
Greenhouse is bringing out some intense red in this one.
Busy weekend re-potting all our sales plants for the upcoming show season. We will also be updating our fall plant list later today with some new additions. Compots, our future prospects…
Much larger flowers than that of a cornu-cervi, petals also tend not to be as full. These can plants can become fairly large and keiki often compared to the rest of their complex. Few hybrids have been made using pantherina but that will soon change. Any one want to see it crossed to equestris ‘b100’?
We got the temps and light levels in check but still have a slight humidity issue to address but today we finally put in the first “test” 100 orchids. Took the whole day to repot them all in fresh moss and bark but it’s the new rule only repotted orchids in the greenhouse. Greenhouse specs: ...
Not bad for a first flowering.
One layer of 50% white shadecloth and a 6mm solar-ice film is on but the heat is still not low enough. Looks like I need more exhaust fans. Electrician comes on Tuesday. Getting really excited over here!
Phalaenopsis mariae Often plants labeled mariae turn out to be bastianii or the hybrid Lovely Marie (bastianii x mariae) but this one is the real deal. Flowers are very similar looking to bastianii but the inflorescence growth is less erected than that of bastianii.
Podangis dactyloceras A species from Africa, I grow it potted but it can be mounted. The flowers are transparent almost crystalline and the green center really pops.
We’ve got heat. I know the summer is coming but nights are still too cool for my Phals. Shadecloth is hopefully going on today.
Phalaenopsis lobbii “Big boy” This particular lobbii is really prolific, third bloom in 13 months span. Loonie in the second photo shows how big this guy is.

Phalaenopsis amboinensis Scented, long lasting and quite striking.
Phalaenopsis deliciosa This is one of my favorite Phals. Clusters of flowers usually about 4-8 of them at one time. “Nikki” var. hookeriana “Jax” “Sunrise”
